My boyfriend had a pair of Rockport shoes that he absolutely loved but we're really badly worn. I'd taken them to my local cobbler but he recommended taking them to be done somewhere that specialises in Rockport shoes. I went to Timpson in Middleton and due to the material of the sole, the cobbler wasn't sure if they would be possible to repair, but recommended I visit the store in Deansgate as the cobbler there is apparently a shoe wizard. The cobbler at Deansgate does indeed seem to be a shoe wizard. He told me that he didn't think he would be able to have them done before the new year, but did manage to get them to me on the 29th which was great. I can't believe how great the job he's done on them is! My boyfriend says they feel as good as new. The only thing I'd say is that it is more expensive than going to my local cobbler, but I also understand that these are very expensive shoes so it works out to be a good investment anyway. Great service from all the Timpsons staff. I appreciate their honesty and expertise.

I'd taken my shoes to another store not a Timpson and kept getting heels done, that bent as soon as I went out. Eden pulled the pins out right in front of me and explained they were to short as there wasn't enough room for the pins and that they needed driĺling. Told me to give him a few hours, as he wanted to be careful as they are Vivienne Westwood and not cheap shoes . Came back the next day, heels done. Worn them now several times and they haven't bent. Very happy

If I could give under 1 star I would've done it. Gone there at 9 am for dry cleaning. Guy came at 10 past 9 and when I show him I have 3 dresses he said he can't do it as has a question waiting after me and he is in a rush. He refused to take them and when asking for his manager he told me to Google the nr as he wouldn't give ant information's. Ask for his name he said was called Eden but pretty sure is a fake name. Anyway not recommended them at all. Very bad customer service. I really wish to know his manager as this is not normal to refuse clients because he is late and has a que of people waiting. Very disappointed about the way he treated me. He shouldn't be late for his work if he didn't want people to wait for him.
